How to...& Exercises

Be a Positive Thinker

Being a positive thinker is so much more than being cheery and bouncy all of the time. Being a positive thinker is not just about being happy. It’s much deeper than that. It’s more secure, stable and dependable; it’s more honest, reliable and comforting; it’s more energy, life and excitement. Being a positive thinker is freedom.

Being positive means you have faith and trust in more than what’s happening right now. It is that belief that everything is going to be ok everyday, all the time- no matter what is going on around you. It’s always expecting the best because you believe in the best.
Being a positive thinker is liking who you are. It is making the very best out of life because you enjoy life. It’s being present and experiencing every moment fully.

Being a positive thinker is living in harmony with your self.

How could you be a positive thinker if you have not mastered the list above and more? Negative thoughts would creep in from your unattended inner levels. Old memories may bring up emotions from unfinished situations. You would doubt your ability to create because there is something wrong with you or maybe it would just increase unhappy, dissatisfied feelings. It may even create fear.

These may seem extreme, unattainable or that the phrasing is used lightly. I assure you it is not. There are many books and movies, teacher and speakers that would have you believe all you have to do to get everything you want is to think good thoughts and be positive. It is not true. Most people do not understand the difference between negative and positive thinking; because they do not know the mind. This fools you into thinking that there is nothing to answer to, nothing to think about and that the only reason you don’t have everything you want is because you are not thinking positively enough. And simplifying something so powerful unleashes an uncontrollable giant named ignorance, misinformation and denial. These sources have done a great disservice to people.

Being a positive thinker is not a way to change your life,
it is a way to live your life…
A blessed and enlightened life.
